After 2 years of asking you out and you saying “no”, I was so excited you finally took a chance on going out with me. I remember our first date, January 8, 2023, just like it was yesterday. I can remember you walking up to the car looking nervous and beautiful at the same time and me telling you to let your mom know my name and where I was taking you, to put her mind at ease. That was the beginning of something so beautiful and special; the great conversations, concerts, rides around the city, dinner dates, and ending up at our favorite spot at 3am in the morning because we didn’t want our night to end. We developed a closeness that was unbreakable. I started to learn about your journey as a widow and the things you went through, when your first husband passed away. That showed me how great of a woman you are and the fight that you had in you. Right in front of me was this beautiful god fearing woman refusing to give up. I’m so happy to be in your life baby and to become your husband. I love you with everything in me Ericka,
